Welcome to a new domain. Or, should I say: doge main ;-)

​

Memes are transforming the world. The rabbit holes run deep, some lead right into the foxes den. Other lead to liberation. Others circle endlessly, not holes, but traps.  Some are slides. 

​

Doge may be the most powerful meme.  As money (another meme), Dogecoin. mic drop.

I had grand ideas for how I'd use the domain to launch new censorship-resistant web3 domain names, but after birthing a hutch of bunnies, my priorities have changed. 

​

So, as I say farewell, I want to offer a few rabbit holes to intrepid truth seekers. I'm also

1. Community Equity 

While I currently own the do.ge domain name, I do not own the meme. The domain has value due to the meme. The meme has been created by thousands of people. The real value lies in the community. So, I believe that most of the value from an eventual sale should also go to the community. 

​

As such, we are going to be airdropping 51% of the economic value via the Do.ge Main Token Drop or #DMTdrop.

​

2. Humane Treatment of Animals

We share this beautiful planet in a community of life. Our fellow creatures are worthy of love. Dogs, bunnies, humans, and all the rest are one family. To reflect this, 20% of the #DMTdrop will be given to charitable organisations working towards these aims.

3. Censorship Resistant Digital Domains

This was my original reason for buying the do.ge domain. The internet needs new domains that are secure and sovereign. I believe that this could be done through an open-source movement that bridges the incumbent ICANN DNS with new web3 protocols.  

 

This is important to keep the internet free for speech.
